- 1 cup hot water
- 3 cups wakame seaweed
- 1 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 small red onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions

1First heat the water in a teakettle.

2Next, place the seaweed in a small bowl and add water.

3Depending on the exact seaweed you have, you may be adding more or less water then the recipe states.

4You should be add just enough to hydrate (or dampen) the seaweed.

5Turn the seaweed to achieve an evenly dampened texture.

6Allow the seaweed to soak for 5 to 10 minutes.

7All of the water should be absorbed by the seaweed.

8If you add too much water, the natural flavor of the seaweed will be lost.

9Next, cut the moist seaweed on a cutting board into 2-inch strips and place them in a bowl.

10Add the other ingredients to the bowl and mix well.
