- 1 medium head cabbage (3 lb.), shredded fine
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
Directions

1Place cabbage in a shallow 4-quart casserole dish.

2Pour milk over, sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter.

3Cover; bake in preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes.

4Uncover.

5Bake 30 minutes longer or until crumbs are lightly browned and cabbage is tender. Delicious served with ham.
