  • 1 medium head cabbage (3 lb.), shredded fine
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 c. dry bread crumbs

Directions

    Place cabbage in a shallow 4-quart casserole dish.

    Pour milk over, sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter.

    Cover; bake in preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes.

    Uncover.

    Bake 30 minutes longer or until crumbs are lightly browned and cabbage is tender. Delicious served with ham.
