  • 1 large egg
  • 13 cup all-purpose flour
  • 14 cup club soda or 14 cup seltzer water
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted, cooled
  • 1 teaspoon oriental sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • vegetable oil or peanut oil, for deep-frying
  • rice vinegar
