- 1 1/2 c. parsnips, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 1/2 c. carrots, cut into chunks
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 1 tsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- juice of 1 orange
Directions

1Boil parsnips and carrots together until just tender.

2Toast sesame seed in skillet over medium heat.

3When they begin to turn color, add butter, maple syrup, salt and orange juice.

4Stir in carrots and parsnips.

5Turn heat to medium-high and cook, stirring until liquid is reduced to a glaze.
