  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 12 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 2 12 cups hot water

Directions

    In a medium skillet, saute the sesame seeds in butter for 2-3 minutes or until golden.

    Add rice, celery and onion; saute until rice is browned.

    Spoon into a ungreased 3 quart baking dish.

    Dissolve bouillon and salt in water pour over the rice mixture.

    Cover and bake at 325 for 50 minutes or until rice is tender.
