  • 1/2 cup white sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup black sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup coarse salt (kosher or sea)

Directions

    Heat a dry skillet over medium heat.

    Add the white sesame seeds and toast, stirring occasionally, until fragrant and golden brown, 2 to 4 minutes.

    Transfer the sesame seeds to a bowl, and stir in the black sesame seeds, salt, and pepper.
