Sesame Seared Bok Choy

- 4 heads baby bok choy
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 T soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 T canola oil
- 1 1/2 T sesame seeds, lightly toasted
Directions

11. split the baby bok choy in half lengthwise and cut off the base. In a small mixing bowl, combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar and garlic to make a braising liquid.

22. Preheat a saute pan until it is very hot. Add the canola oil and sear the bok choy for 1 minute, sauteing constantly. Once the bok choy is hot, turn down the heat to medium, add the braising liquid and continue to saute about 2 minutes.

33. Toss the bok choy with half of the sesame seeds. Move to a plate and garnish with the remaining seeds.
