  • 4 lb. pork spareribs, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seed
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Roast pork, uncovered, on rack in a 325° oven for 1 1/2 hours. Mix soy sauce, wine, sesame seed, oil, sugar, red pepper and garlic in a saucepan; heat to boiling.

    Mix cornstarch and cold water; gradually stir into sauce mixture.

    Boil, stirring, for about 1 minute.

    Brush ribs with sauce.

    Roast, turning and basting, until done, about 45 minutes.
