  • potatoes, sliced 1/3 inch thick
  • 2 lbs (.9 kg). crumbled ground beef (uncooked)
  • carrots, sliced 1/3 inch thick
  • fresh tomatoes, sliced
  • bell pepper, sliced
  • celery, sliced
  • potatoes, sliced 1/3 inch thick
  • salt, pepper and garlic salt, to taste
  • 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) water

Directions

    Prepare a 9 x 13 inch pan or large casserole dish.

    Layer ingredients in order, seasoning each as you go.

    Pour in the water.

    Cover and bake at 325 degrees (175 C.) for about 2 hours, until the vegetables are tender.

    Add more water if needed.
