  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. 7-Up

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter together; beat until light and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.

    Add flour; beat well. Add lemon juice and 7-Up.

    Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube pan.

    Bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
