- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. alum
- 1/3 c. salt
Directions

1Slice cukes in gallon jug to the rim.

2Mix brine well, do not cook; pour over cukes and shake.

3Keep on counter for 5 days and shake every day 2 or 3 times a day.

4After 5 days, refrigerate. Will keep for months.
