- 4 c. beer
- 4 c. water
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 lb. uncooked pork sausages
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 large onions, diced
Directions

1Fill a pot halfway with beer, water and sliced onion.

2Bring to a boil.

3Plunge in sausages and simmer 20 minutes.

4If any sausages rise to surface while simmering, prick with a sharp knife.

5As sausages simmer, melt butter in skillet and saute diced onions until golden brown.

6Set aside.

7Remove sausages from water and cook on grill until crusty brown.

8Serve with sauteed onions.
