- 8 bacon slices, minced
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/2-inch thick
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Fry bacon until not quite crisp.

2Add onions and saute until limp.

3Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.

4Center potatoes on tinfoil, placed in large casserole dish.

5Pour bacon mixture over potatoes and season with salt and pepper.

6Seal foil with small space between potatoes and foil.

7Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300°.

8Serves 4 to 6.
