- 1/2 c. sweet milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Mix sweet milk and vinegar together and let set while preparing the rest.

2Mix in bowl the sugar and flour. Bring to a boil the water, shortening, oleo and cocoa.

3Pour liquid, vanilla, soda and eggs over dry ingredients.

4Add milk.

5Mix well and pour into ungreased sheet cake pan.

6Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
