- 2 to 3 lb. leftover meat (beef, lamb or pork), minced
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. turnips
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
Directions

1Add onion, turnip and celery to meat.

2Pan fry all ingredients in butter for 5 to 10 minutes.

3Add salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, sage to taste and 1/2 cup red wine.

4Line a casserole dish with meat mixture.

5Place mashed potatoes on top.

6Bake at 400° for 40 to 50 minutes.
