  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 12 cup water
  • 14 cup oatmeal
  • salt, to taste
  • 34 cup chopped onion
  • 2 -3 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules

Directions

    In skillet, brown ground beef, drain fat.

    Add onions and cook until tender.

    Add water, bouillon mix, salt and oatmeal.

    Simmer together 10 minutes.

    Layer meat in bottom of casserole or baking dish.

    Top with mashed potatoes, brush with melted butter.

    Sprinkle with paprika.

    Bake at 325F for 30 minutes.

    Serve with gravy.
