- 1 (8 oz.) jar special apple rings, drained
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can peach halves, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can pear halves, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves, drained
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/3 to 1 c. sherry

1Cut apple rings and pineapple slices in half.

2Arrange fruit in layers in 2-quart casserole; set aside.

3Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat.

4Add flour and sugar, stirring until smooth, 1 minute.

5Gradually add sherry.

6Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick.

7Pour over fruit; cover and chill 8 hours.

8Let come to room temperature.

9Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
