- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 4 large carrots, sliced
- 3 or 4 medium potatoes
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can tomato soup
Directions

1Fry beef and onion in frying pan; add thyme and bay leaves. While that is cooking, clean vegetables.

2Arrange in small roasting pan in layers: layer of celery, then carrots, then kidney beans and then a layer of sliced potatoes.

3Put beef mixture on top of potatoes.

4Next, spread an undiluted can of tomato soup over beef.

5Fill soup can 1/2 full of water and add.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until carrots and potatoes are done.
