Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 500 grams turkey (good with lamb chicken or pork too)
  • 4 pitta breads
  • 1 salad
  • 4 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 4 tbsp garlic mayo or sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

    mix all the spices and store in a small jar

    cut the meat into small slices and add olive oil and 1 or 2 tbsp of spice mix depending how spicy you want it, marinate for a few hours

    fry or grill the meat and put it into a pitta bread with salad then drizzle with garlic and sweet chilli sauce
