- 4 c. flour
- 1 lb. light brown sugar
- 1 c. soft butter
- 1 c. King syrup
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Mix flour, brown sugar and butter.

2Take out 1 1/2 cups and set aside for top of cake.

3Mix syrup, water and baking soda until blended.

4Add dry mixture and mix.

5Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of crumbs on top of cake.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
