  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Mix flour, brown sugar and margarine by hand to make crumbs. Set aside 2 cups of the crumbs.

    Mix boiling water, corn syrup and baking soda.

    Stir into the crumbs.

    Batter will be thin.

    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Place the 2 cups of crumbs over top and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
