  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 cups Warm Water
  • 1 cup Molasses
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 9X13 Cake Pan, greased and floured

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Mix flour, sugar, salt, and shortening. Set aside 1 cup for topping

    Mix water, molasses, and baking soda; then add to dry ingredients.
