  • 2 lb. stewing beef
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • flour to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

Directions

    Dredge beef in seasoned flour and brown in oil.

    Mix soup, wine, onion and mushrooms in a casserole.

    Add browned beef. Cover with a tight fitting lid and bake at 300° for 3 to 4 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
