- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
Directions

1Knead the flour into softened butter; then knead the sugar into flour mixture.

2Press firmly into a well greased 8 inch square pan.

3Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 325° or until delicate brown.

4Cut into squares while still hot; return to oven to dry edges.
