- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter in mixer.

2Gradually add flour and nuts.

3Shape into logs; wrap in waxed paper.

4Chill until firm. Slice and arrange on ungreased cookie sheet.

5Bake for 12 to 20 minutes in a 325° oven, until slightly browned (depends on thickness of slices).
