  • 1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)

    Cream sugar and butter in mixer.

    Gradually add flour and nuts.

    Shape into logs; wrap in waxed paper.

    Chill until firm. Slice and arrange on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake for 12 to 20 minutes in a 325° oven, until slightly browned (depends on thickness of slices).
