  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3 Tbsp. rice, uncooked
  • 1 lg. onion, diced
  • 1 can water
  • 2-1/2-3 c. shredded cabbage
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Brown meat lightly.

    Add onion and cook until tender.

    Add soup, water and rice.

    Simmer for 5 minutes.

    Spread cabbage evenly in large flat casserole dish.

    Spoon the meat mixture over. Do not stir.

    Bake at 325° about 1 or 1-1/2 hours.
