- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. bacon fat
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 c. mushroom pieces
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1 c. cooked shrimp
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- rice
Directions

1Brown onion and green pepper in melted fat.

2Add tomato juice, mushrooms and seasonings.

3Cover and simmer for one hour.

4Add shrimp and cook for 30 minutes longer.

5Thicken with paste made from flour and 1/2 cup water.

6Serve over rice.
