Ingredients
- 1 lb. shrimp
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 to 1 Creole seasoning (we use Paul Prudhomme's Seafood Magic)
- dash of pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 16 oz. can tomatoes, chopped (with liquid)
- 4 oz. tomato sauce
Directions

1Peel and devein shrimp.

2Cook onions, peppers, celery and garlic in butter until tender.

3Blend in flour and seasonings. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and cook until thick, stirring constantly.

4Add shrimp and simmer for 20 minutes.

5Serve over rice.
