- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp. green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 to 2 cans water (12 to 16 oz.)
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 lb. cleaned shrimp
- salt and pepper
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne
Directions

1Heat oil over medium heat; add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic and green pepper.

2Saute 2 minutes.

3Blend in flour.

4Add tomato sauce and cook another 5 minutes.

5Stir in water, parsley, shrimp, salt, pepper and cayenne.

6Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

7Serve over cooked rice.
