- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. diced celery
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 c. bell pepper
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 1/4 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can tomatoes
- 5 c. water
- 3 c. cooked shrimp
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1In a large skillet, melt butter.

2Saute until limp, onion, bell pepper and celery.

3Blend in flour.

4Add parsley, cayenne pepper, Tabasco sauce, salt, tomato paste, tomato sauce, tomatoes and water.

5Add bay leaf but remove before serving.

6Cook for 30 minutes or until thick.

7Stir in shrimp and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over rice.

8Serves 6.
