- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. finely chopped celery
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 lb. shrimp
Directions

1Cook onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender, stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings.

2Simmer 10 minutes. Add shrimp.

3Cook 10 to 20 minutes.

4Serve over hot cooked rice. Yields 6 servings.
