  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 4 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • hot sauce to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled

Directions

    Saute onion, green peppers and celery in oil until tender. Add tomato sauce, bay leaf and hot sauce.

    Let simmer about 20 minutes.

    Add shrimp.

    Cook about 10 minutes or until shrimp is done.

    Remove bay leaf.

    Serve over rice.
