- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. basil or marjoram leaves
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 28 oz. can (3 1/2 c.) tomatoes (undrained)
- 16 oz. pkg. (4 c.) uncooked shrimp
Directions

1In large skillet, saute green pepper and onion in margarine until tender.

2Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.

3Heat to boiling.

4Simmer, covered, for 12 to 15 minutes, or until shrimp are firm and pink, stirring occasionally.

5Makes 5 servings.
