- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. coarsely chopped onion
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 small bay leaf
- 4 drops of hot sauce
- 1/2 c. diced green pepper
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 c. cooked cleaned shrimp
Directions

1Melt butter in frypan; saute onion, celery and garlic until tender, but not brown. Add flour and seasonings; stir until blended. Stir in green pepper and tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp; heat through.
