Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, drained
  • 4 to 5 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1 lb. raw shrimp, cooked and cleaned
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • cooked rice
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    In a skillet, fry bacon, remove from skillet and set aside. Saute green pepper, celery and onion in bacon drippings.

    Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and rice.

    Cook slowly until thick, stirring occasionally.

    Before serving, add shrimp, stirring until shrimp are heated through.

    Serve over rice and sprinkle with bacon.

    Serves 4 to 6.
