Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. canola oil
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium green bell pepper
- 1 celery stalk
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 can low-sodium tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp. Creole seasoning
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 medium tomatoes
- 1 3/4 lb. large shrimp
- 1 or 2 dash Hot pepper sauce
Directions

1Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2Add oil, garlic, onion, green pepper and celery.

3Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring, until softened.

4Add flour; stir to coat evenly.

5Stir in tomato sauce, Creole seasoning, bay leaf and tomatoes.

6Cook for 5 minutes, stirring, until slightly thickened.

7Add shrimp and hot pepper sauce; bring to a boil.

8Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes.

9Remove bay leaf and serve with rice.
