- 1 1/2 lb. shrimp
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 medium pieces celery, chopped
- 1 medium white onion
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 pt. tomato puree
- 1 pt. water
- 1 pinch each: sugar, thyme, salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions

1Clean shrimp.

2Melt enough butter in pan to cover the bottom. Add garlic and saut. Add celery, green pepper and onion.

3When these are half cooked, add tomato puree and water.

4Add pinch of sugar, thyme, salt and pepper.

5Cook about 15 minutes.

6It should be a nice thick consistency.

7Serve over steamed rice.
