- 2 1/2 lb. shrimp
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) can water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- dash of Tabasco
Directions

1Peel, devein and wash shrimp.

2Melt butter in a large skillet and saute onion and green pepper.

3Stir in garlic; remove from heat and blend in flour.

4Add tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes. Add water, then stir in shrimp and seasonings.

5Cover; simmer 30 minutes.

6Serve over rice.
