Ingredients

  • 2 lb. shrimp
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 small jar pimento, chopped
  • 1/2 c. cooking sherry
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Fry onion, garlic and green pepper.

    Add rest of ingredients, except shrimp.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Add shrimp; heat 15 more minutes.

    Serve over rice with toasted French bread.
