  • 5 lb. onions, chopped
  • bacon drippings
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 (3 oz.) can curry powder
  • 1 c. lemon juice
  • 4 c. chicken broth
  • 1 large potato, chopped
  • 5 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • lemon juice

    Saute onions in bacon drippings in a stockpot over very low heat for 1 hour, stirring frequently.

    Add green bell peppers. Cook until mixture is dark brown in color, stirring frequently.
