- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 1/8 pounds jumbo shrimp
- 1 tablespoon flour
- milk
- salt
- ground black pepper
- empanada wrappers
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius,

2Add the olive oil to a skillet heated to medium heat. Add the onions and cook for 8 minutes or until softened.

3Add the chopped shrimp and saute for 4 minutes. Add the flour and mix well.

4Add milk until a thick paste forms. the mixture is bound. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

5Fill the empanada/wonton wrappers.

6In a small bowl, add the egg and water and mix well.

7Close and seal with the egg wash and a fork.

8Bake the empanadas for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

9Serve warm.
