Shrimp Etouffee

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1/2 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 buttons garlic
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 qt. cleaned shrimp

Directions

    Saute onions, peppers and tomatoes in margarine for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Keep simmering and add soup and shrimp (no water is added to this, but can be thinned with tomato juice).

    Simmer all together about 2 hours.

    Serve over fluffy rice.
