Shrimp Fried Rice

Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 1 1/2 cup rice
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 3 cup water
- 1 soy sauce
Directions

1In a saucepan bring water to a boil.

2Add rice and stir.

3Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

4Set aside and allow rice to cool.

5Heat a large skillet or wok for 2 minutes.

6When the skillet or wok is hot, pour in vegetable oil, bean sprouts and onions.

7Mix well and cook for 3 minutes.

8Mix in cooled rice and shrimp and cook for another 3 minutes.

9Stirring constantly.

10Mix in green onions, salt, pepper, and soy sauce.

11Cook for another 4 minutes, stirring continuously, until everything is blended evenly.

12you can use eggs and sesame oil if you like as well
