- 1 Tbsp. salad or olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- good dash of cayenne
- 1 large can crushed Italian tomatoes with or without basil
- 2 lb. raw shrimp
- 4 c. hot cooked rice or pasta if preferred
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In oil, saute garlic; add spices and crushed tomatoes.

2Simmer until sauce is reduced.

3Add shrimp that have been peeled and deveined.

4Cook for a few minutes until shrimp are tender.

5Serve over rice or pasta.

6Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
