Shrimp Mold

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 bunch green onions (I use less)
  • 1 celery heart, chopped
  • 3 lb. shrimp, boiled, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 pkg. Knox gelatine (add 1 c. of hot tap water to gelatine)
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 2 dashes Lea & Perrins
  • dash of salt
  • juice of 1 lemon

Directions

    Combine soup and cream cheese on low heat until smooth; add green onions, celery, shrimp, mayonnaise and seasoning.

    Dissolve gelatine and add to mixture.

    Pour into mold; let stand 24 hours before serving.

    Serve with crackers.
