Shrimp-Pork Egg Rolls

  • 6 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 bunch thinly sliced celery
  • water
  • oil
  • 1 lb. ground lean pork (2 c.)
  • 1 c. chopped green onions
  • 1 c. chopped cooked shrimp
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 12 egg roll skins
  • beaten egg

Directions

    In a large pot, combine cabbage, celery and enough water to cover.

    Bring to a boil.

    Cook about 5 minutes or until tender. Drain in colander and cool.

    Press vegetables against side of colander to extract liquid.

    Vegetables should look dry.
