Shrimp Scampi

- 1 lb. cleaned shrimp (allow 6 to 10 per person)
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 4 to 5 garlic cloves (depending on your taste, and freshness of garlic)
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
Directions

1Melt butter in small saucepan.

2Saute garlic for 2 minutes. Add wine.

3Add cornstarch to thicken a little.

4Arrange the shrimp in a large flat pan and pour mixture over the top.

5Marinate in the refrigerator for about an hour.

6Broil 3 to 4-inches under broiler for 5 to 6 minutes per side.

7Serve the shrimp in an attractive serving dish.
