Shrimp Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. shrimp
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pt. cream
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Chop or grind shrimp; add to milk.

    Place in top of double boiler and cook over hot water for 1/2 hour.

    Remove from fire. Add cream, butter, flour, salt and pepper, which have been rubbed to a smooth paste.
