- 10 slices white bread
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
- 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen shelled and deveined shrimp, cooked and minced
- 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- fresh dill or parsley for garnish
Directions

1Cut crusts from bread.

2With 2-inch fluted round cookie cutter, cut some circles from bread slices.

3Cut remaining bread into 1 1/2-inch triangles and 2 x 1-inch pieces to make 20 cutouts in all.

4In blender, blend bread trimmings to make 1/2 cup crumbs. In 1-quart saucepan, melt butter with thyme.

5With pastry brush, brush cutouts with butter mixture.

6Place on cookie sheet; broil 2 minutes or just until golden.

7Mix shrimp, bread crumbs, cheese, mayonnaise and salt; spread some on each cutout.

8Broil 10 minutes, about 7 to 9 inches from source of heat.
