  • 1-1/2 cups shallots, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups flour
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 24 each ground sirloin beef patties (5 oz. each)
  • 1-1/2 cups ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese
  • 24 each Brioche hamburger buns, split, toasted
  • 3 cups A.1. Gourmet Sauce, Dijon Roasted Garlic
  • 48 slices applewood-smoked bacon, crisply cooked, drained

Directions

    Coat shallots with seasoned flour; gently shake off excess flour.

    Cook in 350 degrees F deep-fat fryer 1 to 2 min.

    or until crisp and lightly browned; drain.

    Season with salt and pepper; keep warm.

    For each serving: Season 1 beef patty with salt and pepper.

    Grill on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.

    on each side to medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.

    Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp.
